Start a 10 pound lunchtime support group at work to boost morale and motivation, build peer support, and match exercise preferences. Limit the group to 10 weeks to keep it simple, straightforward, and, do-able. Post a few flyers a week or so in advance and see who turns up. Plan to meet for 30 minutes once per week for ten weeks. WMSN Babysitters Club

The Working Mom’s Survival Network teamed up with several organizations to form a babysitters club.

The Newport News Office on Youth Development provided a mini grant to establish the program for youth ages 11 to 15 based on the 40 developmental assets, recognizing the need for a Working Mom’s resource of qualified “casual need” babysitters.
